A Day in Italy

In Italy, people take their time to eat. They usually have a small breakfast: a coffee and a sweet bread. Lunch is often short, around one o'clock, with pasta or a light dish. Dinner starts late, usually at eight or nine.

Italians don't eat in a hurry. They talk, share food and enjoy every meal. On Sundays, families always eat together. It's a big tradition.

Tips from an Italian kitchen: - Eat fresh food every day. - Use olive oil, not butter. - Drink water with your meals. - Finish with a small espresso. - Take time for dinner with family.
